Well with the weekend, the shower and the gender finally revealed and over, it's time to get things started. With just under 13 weeks to go, we have so much to do in so little time. It felt like eternity to get out and shop and when I finally got the chance last night, I was like" wait a minute, I'm starting from scratch". Onsies, bibs, burp clothes, toys, pacifiers, bottles, clothes, socks you name it, we need it. We have 6 bags of clothes that we still kept from Gabrielle and we can use NONE of it. I guess all I can say about that one is "I got my boy". My shower was great, we will be able to get a number of things with our monetary gifts. This weekend, Gabrielle will be with her aunt and Roger and I will shop for Mr. Braxton and have some time to ourselves which is much needed.
We're also trying to figure out where this queen sized be of ours in the guest room will go when we put up the crib. We're not tossing it because Braxton will use this bed once he's out of the crib. Changing table needs to be put together in Gabrielle's room, crib, arange the closet since they will share the one in the guest room, put together stroller, etc. Lots of things to do. School is over for me this month also, what a relief. With the weather changing Gabrielle refuses to enter the hosue once we're home from work. She wants to walk the neighborhood or go to the park. I'm going to let her run the show and spend as much time with just us three as I can. She knows a little one is coming and that the baby is in mommy's stomach, but I really believe it will be more of an adjustment when the baby actually gets here................
Well, here's to another 9 awesome months of my eggo being preggo! Couldn't ask for anything better for Gabrielle, myself and Roger than to welcome another little Peters into our home. Cheer's to that 1% chance and God's will.

Twas the Night before the Big Reveal
Well here it is, the day before the shower. I'm so over this thing it's not even funny. It's like way over due now especially with the amount of planning and executing that's been put into motion over the last several weeks. What I find so mind boggling is that I've been buying this weeks before, like no joke. And it seems as if all this week, I'm STILL buying things. I'm looking forward to entertaining my guest though, which is exciting. I've been to a slew of baby showers, baby parties, baby mama parties, anniversaries but it's never been a function for myself so I'm pretty excited and overwhelmed at the same time. My sisters hous is going to be FULL to capacity and I know she's going to kill me for that. Anywho, baby is growing and moving up a storm. Time is going by so fast I don't know what to do. This is my last week in the second trimester.....what! What do you mean? I just found out, then I'm just finding out the sex tomorrow then i'm told on my 26 week appt this week that I have 13 more weeks to go. Does this make sense to anyone?
With Gabrielle, full time work and school I honestly cant keep up. Time is moving so quickly, I cant keep up with myself.
I figured after this week, I may be able to slow down. I have three more weeks of school left, haven't been invited to any parties or showers for the month of April of May and I will know what the sex is tomorrow. But then I thought to myself are you kidding me, I'm going to shop every minute I have free now because I know it's a boy or girl...........and summer wear is out, OMG. It's been ruff though really. Roger and I cross eachothers paths briefly when we get home and then we're both pooped when we get in bed. Monday, Wednesday is him gym night, Tue and Thur I'm at school, Friday I'm at someones house and Saturday on the streets with my sister, Sunday in church. I have a headace just thinking about it. I long for the day to come home and sit on the coach and do nothing all day long.

Anywho, I passed my glucose test. My nerves were shot because I get the results first at the office. Like literally results come to my printer and being a patient at my very own office I see them first. So waiting for mines to print, although I had access to them ASAP, I had to comply because I felt like they're watching, I decided to wait and they came the next freaking day. So I came in the next morning and flew to my office and surfed through the mounds of paper and boom, good to go. No three hour glucose for the lady. My weight is still rising, I personally think it's just in my belly because I'm still skinny as a rail. But all is well, doc said things look good and me and baby are healthy all the way around.

24 Weeks and Counting
RSVP's are rolling in and I'm truely excited to know that every one wants to share this moment with my family and I. I'm looking forward to entertaining and having some fun. As fas as this weeks events this week has been nothing but pure uncomfertable for me. I thought drawstring pants which are my scrubs at work would be fine throughout this pregnancy, but boy was I wrong. It's completely cutting of the circulation of my stomach. I have to wear maternity slacks to work from now on. I'm officially wobbling , forget about these grasshopper legs moving as fast as they used too. OH, cant forget to mention that I offically weigh 147. Roger and I were comparing my stomach from the belly I had with Gabrielle on my other blog and at 8 months I was 151. WHY in the world at 6 months am I 147 already. I also was much more rounder EVERY where. This baby bump just looks like I swallowed a basketball.

Uncomfertable Already
At 22 weeks, my back is killing me, my pelvis area feels like it's going to rip and I still have 18 weeks to go, that's 4 months, that's a little over 100 days left.............Yes I'm counting. This pregnancy is way different than Gabrielle's. For one, I think this baby is hyperactive, Gabrielle was VERY chill in the womb. The kicks, swirls, ups and downs are insane, but necessary I guess. Neurtotransmitters are really firing in his brain which allows him to want to explore. I had a doc appointment yesterday and my uterus is measuring above my belly button, which is normal and I've gained, drumroll please.........................20 pounds. It's mainly in my face, breast bone area and my thighs. I had to buy granny panties, TMI, but my pride is out the window and I'm pretty sure anyone whose been pregnant can atest to that. I've also went up in bra size, which is AWESOME, LOL (Hey ROG). Roger and I went to the movies and diner for our anniversary and it was SOOOO good to be alone, get out and enjoy eachothers company. Seven years dating and 4 years married as of March 6th. And might I add, two kids later was the subject all night. All night I was also uncomfortable, especially after eating. My stomach is like WHOA, then the braxton hicks just make matters worse for me. I'm not sure if it's the pants or what, but they are maternity pants for goodness sake. Sleeping sucks, it's either left side or right side and a matter of years before I can actually roll over.
Totally of subject but very relevant, I had to break down and buy somethings yesterday. Just onsies, nothing serious. It was a 5 pack of pink on sale for $5, then 5 pack of blue and grey for $5 also on clearance at TJ Max. Of course I kept the receipt for my ROI (Return on Investment).

Back to the drawing board 1.
So, we're back to the drawing board with a few things knocked off and a few added on.
Complete Gabrielle's closet w/curtains for closet nookStart on painting master bedroom and ordering TV stand and chairs- Keep and create a new snack closet for Gabrielle. Bottles an formula will soon take over hers. And for our sake it cannot be eye level with the girl or it's on like donkey kong.
- Reorganize guestroom closet for new baby AND Gabrielle's belongings
Get masterbedroom closet under control (goodness gracious) I meant myside of the closet- Post baby shower, either gather and give away Gabrielle's old clothing or wash and store Gabrielle's clothing for her sister
- Post baby shower maybe mid June put up crib, changing table and wash rocking chair cushsions
Coat and sneaker closet under control. Gabrielle is in the running with 7 pairs of Jordans, 3winter boots, church shoes, slippers, EVEN water shoes. And half she hasn't even wore yet, thanks Uncle Tucky.- For goodness sake clean and clear out my kitchen cabinet draws.
- Order new carseat/base because I can't find the base for the car and I'm not in love with the old car seat anymore. Besides if it's a boy, we can't use it anyhow.
- Wash rocking chair cushions
22 Weeks Half Way There!
I can't keep up; It's like time is moving by so quickly and it's waiting for no one. While pregnant with Gabrielle, things dragged out as much as possible and I seemed to be pregnant forever. I guess being busy with Gabrielle, school, work, family, church, friends, and the house, it's going by really fast. There's no complaints though, I'm just surprised. Movements have been fantastic this past week. Those kicks and punchs are starting to get stronger and much more pronounced. I'm loving EVERY moment of it. One complaint that I do have is the pressure. It's so uncomfertable. My belly is getting in the way of Gabrielle laying on me and if she's not careful with her knees, she will knee me accidentally. It's happened a few times, but it's okay.
